IT for plumbing businesses.

Secure Nerds provides managed IT to Australian plumbing businesses, focused on after-hours call flow so emergency jobs reach a person, invoicing from the van, and job records that stay backed up. The complete package costs from $1,000 per month for up to five users, with onsite visits across South East Queensland charged separately.

Most of your team is in a van and most of your revenue starts with a phone call. The technology that matters is the phone system, the job software and the devices that have to work in someone else’s house at seven in the morning.

What changes

What’s different about your sector.

Generic managed IT assumes everyone sits at a desk on a company laptop. For most of our clients almost nothing about that is true.

Calls

The emergency job you can’t miss

After-hours diverts and ring groups configured so an urgent call reaches a person rather than a mailbox. This is the single highest-value thing we set up for plumbers.

Field

Invoicing before leaving the driveway

Devices and connectivity set up so quotes and invoices go out from site, which is the difference between getting paid this week and next month.

Office

One place for the paperwork

Compliance certificates, job photos and supplier invoices filed somewhere backed up and searchable, rather than spread across three people’s phones.

The package

The same inclusions, configured for you.

What you get doesn’t change by industry. How it’s configured does — and that is most of the value.

Complete Managed IT

$1,000/month

For businesses up to 5 users. Larger teams are quoted on the same basis — nothing gets unbundled.

Prices exclude GST. No setup fee, no lock-in contract.

What that covers
  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace — licensing, setup, mailboxes, file storage and the day-to-day administration of both.
  • Website hosting and maintenance — hosting, updates and monitoring, kept patched alongside everything else we run.
  • Domain registration and DNS — renewals handled and DNS managed, so nobody has to remember when the domain expires.
  • DMARC email authentication — stops criminals sending invoices that appear to come from your domain.
  • Managed EDR, ITDR and a 24/7 SOC — endpoint and identity detection through Huntress, with analysts watching around the clock rather than alerts piling up in a console.
  • Basic SEO — the on-page and local search work that keeps you findable, handled alongside the hosting.
  • Managed IT remote support for up to 5 users — a business-hours help desk and remote resolution for the whole team.

Sector questions

Frequently Asked Questions

We’re only four people. Is this overkill?

The package is sized for businesses up to five users, so no — that is exactly who it is built for. Small trades are the ones most likely to have no backups and no email protection at all.

Can we keep our existing number?

Yes. Numbers port across as part of the phone setup, so anything on your vans and signage keeps working.

Do you come to us, or is it all remote?

Both. Most things are solved remotely and quickly. Around Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay and Redland we attend site, and we attend in the other capitals too.
