Secure Nerds provides managed IT to Australian real estate agencies, built around agents working off-site and the payment redirection fraud that targets settlement funds. DMARC email authentication, multi-factor authentication and identity monitoring are standard. The complete package costs from $1,000 per month for up to five users.
Your team works from cars, open homes and the office, often on their own devices. Your email carries trust account details and settlement figures. That combination is exactly what payment redirection fraud looks for — and it’s the reason DMARC is in every agreement we write.
What changes
Generic managed IT assumes everyone sits at a desk on a company laptop. For most of our clients almost nothing about that is true.
Criminals watch for a settlement, then email revised bank details from something that looks like your domain. DMARC, MFA and identity monitoring are the three controls that break that chain.
Property managers, sales agents and admin all work differently. Devices get set up for how each role actually operates, not one standard build for everyone.
Tenancy files, inspection photos and trust records have retention requirements. They need to live somewhere backed up and searchable, not in a phone’s camera roll.
The package
What you get doesn’t change by industry. How it’s configured does — and that is most of the value.
$1,000/month
For businesses up to 5 users. Larger teams are quoted on the same basis — nothing gets unbundled.

Sector questions
Yes. We don’t replace the systems your agency runs on — we make sure the devices, accounts and network underneath them behave, and we handle the vendor conversation when something breaks.
DMARC, together with SPF and DKIM, tells the receiving mail server to reject anything sent from your domain that isn’t genuinely yours. It’s included in the package rather than sold as an extra, because for an agency it isn’t optional.
It’s workable, but it has to be deliberate. We separate business data from personal data on the device, so that when someone leaves, the agency’s information can be removed without touching their photos.
