Secure Nerds provides managed IT to Australian accountants, brokers and consultants, with access controls that reflect client confidentiality, capacity for busy season, and a written ACSC Essential Eight position to give clients and insurers. The complete package costs from $1,000 per month for up to five users.
You hold other people’s financial and personal information, you have a busy season that doesn’t move, and your clients assume your systems are more secure than most small businesses can actually afford. The package is built to close that gap.
What changes
Generic managed IT assumes everyone sits at a desk on a company laptop. For most of our clients almost nothing about that is true.
File permissions that reflect who should see which client, rather than one shared drive everybody can open. Reviewed as the team changes.
Whether that’s tax time or end of financial year, the environment has to hold up when everyone is working late, not just in a quiet week.
A written Essential Eight position, so when a client’s procurement team asks how you protect their data, you have an answer with evidence behind it.
The package
What you get doesn’t change by industry. How it’s configured does — and that is most of the value.

Sector questions
We give you a written assessment against the ACSC Essential Eight and the evidence behind it. That is far more useful in a client conversation than a general assurance, and it is the same framework insurers recognise.
Yes. We support the environment it runs in and deal with the vendor when something breaks. We will tell you honestly if the software itself is the constraint.
In your own tenancy, with access controls, MFA and separate backups — and we confirm data residency as part of onboarding, because it often matters for your own obligations.
