Managed IT support

Managed IT support for small business.

Managed IT support from Secure Nerds covers monitoring, patching, device management, staff onboarding and offboarding, and a business-hours help desk for Australian small businesses. Support is included in the managed package from $1,000 per month for up to five users, delivered remotely nationwide. Onsite visits are available in six capital cities and are charged separately.

Somebody has to own the laptops, the logins, the updates and the person who can’t print. In most small businesses that job quietly lands on whoever is least busy. We take it off them.

What’s included

How it works in practice.

What we run

Every device, tracked

Laptops, desktops, servers and mobiles on a single inventory, so you know what you own, how old it is and when it needs replacing before it fails.

What we prevent

Patching that actually happens

Operating systems and applications updated on a schedule, reported monthly. Most incidents we see started with an update somebody deferred for six months.

What we handle

Starters and leavers

New staff get a working machine and the right access on day one. Departing staff lose access the same day, which is the step small businesses most often miss.

What you see

A monthly report in plain language

What changed, what broke, what it cost and what needs a decision. Written for an owner, not for another engineer.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast do you respond?

Our help desk operates business hours AEST and most issues are resolved remotely in that window. Rather than advertise a headline response time we can’t hold to on every ticket, we agree the priorities that matter to your business in writing when you sign on.

Do we have to replace all our equipment?

No. We start with what you have, tell you what is genuinely at end of life, and put the rest on a replacement plan you can budget for. We don’t make hardware sales a condition.

What happens when someone leaves the business?

You tell us, and we disable access across email, files and every connected application the same day, then hand you the account data. Leaving accounts live is one of the most common ways small businesses get breached.
